Open any design full screen and work on one face of the mug at a time — what a person actually sees when they pick it up. The wrap with the design on both sides is assembled at export.
Load a photo of an actual mug and the design is laid onto it — drag to place, scale it, bend it round the cylinder, and choose how far it sinks into the photo. Dark ink multiplies into white ceramic so the mug's own shading shows through; light ink screens onto charcoal.

Yes. Fonts load from Google Fonts the first time you open it and your browser caches them after that. If you open it with no connection at all, designs still draw using system fonts.
With the full version, yes — that is what it is for. Every built-in font is under the SIL Open Font Licence or the Apache licence, both of which permit commercial use including physical merchandise. If you load a font of your own, that font's licence is yours to check.
Files from the free version carry a watermark and are for evaluating the tool, not for listing products.
No catch and no time limit. Every feature is unlocked, nothing is capped, and you can design as much as you like at any export size. Files it writes carry a PixelModeShop watermark across them — that is the only difference. The full version writes the same files clean.
No, and here is the reasoning: the free version is the entire tool, so you can test every feature on your own machine before you pay a cent. Nobody needs to buy this one on faith. Try it first, and if it does not suit how you work, do not buy it.
Yes. The 11 oz and 15 oz wrap sizes come straight off the standard Accent Coffee Mug templates, and the face positions were measured from those templates and verified against real printed mugs. If your provider asks for different dimensions, the custom size box takes anything.
No. Everything happens inside your browser. Your phrases, your photos, your fonts and your exports never leave your computer. There is no server behind it.
It runs, but it wants a big screen. The design wall and the editor are far more comfortable on a laptop. On a phone the practical route is to export a ZIP, save it to Google Drive, and open it on your computer later — the app tells you how.
